the world's first cheese from organic faba beans

our varieties

All four varieties were crafted with great care over the last 4 years in our kitchen in Stuttgart. We exclusively use high-quality organic ingredients. Viva la Faba is completely plant-based and free from unnecessary additives and preservatives. Our secret ingredient? The local faba bean - a true superhero, bursting with flavor, packed with essential nutrients, and rich in protein.

a footprint as small
as a faba bean

We actively support the change from animal husbandry to the cultivation of organic legumes . For example, in the picture on the left we grew faba beans for the first time with a farmer in Middle Franconia to learn more about cultivation and the challenges. At the same time, we continuously analyze our ecological footprint . Study results show that Viva la Faba cheese has a CO2 footprint that is up to 75% lower than dairy cheese*.
